The Jingle Bell Walk & Run for Arthritis

The Jingle Bell Run & Walk For Arthritis is a non-competitive, fun-filled, family-oriented fundraising event for The Arthritis Society.
Make some noise for arthritis - these diseases are serious (more than 100 different forms of arthritis and over 200,000 people in Manitoba/Nunavut live with one or more types) and we need your help to raise funds for much needed arthritis research, client services, education programs and your voice to bring awareness to these diseases!
Come out dressed in holiday themed costumes or your running gear and tie jingle bells to your shoes all in the name of arthritis.
We have a number of routes for you to choose from and ways to participate.
• 5 km route and 1 km route
• As an individual
* Adult 18 years +
* Youth 12 – 17 years
* Kids 1-11 years
• Enter a team (minimum of 3 people and no maximum)
• Throw out a challenge to your friends, family and social contacts to enter a team!
• Challenge your business and professional contacts to challenge each other and enter a team!

Registering and participating in this event is one great way to help support the work of The Arthritis Society. Another way to help is to also collect pledges in support of your participation. Prizes will also be awarded in individual, team and Reindeer Challenge categories for best costume.
To be eligible for prizes, all pledges must be paid in full and returned on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Brandon Community Sportsplex from 1 - 5 pm or Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the event.
The Arthritis Society reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or lesser value.
